Northern Ireland: Review of Health and Social Care

Health Minister Edwin Poots today unveiled, ‘Transforming Your Care, A Review of Health and Social Care’. The Report contains a set of proposals for the future of health and social care services in Northern Ireland. Among the main recommendations are that more care should be delivered in the home. It also recognises greater scope for the use of technology as an enabler of the delivery of the new model of care. Toni joined Ireland’s longest established telecare company, TASK Community Care in 2009, and is responsible for operations and business development in its Northern Ireland division. Having originally planned for a career in the legal profession, she gained her Bachelor of Laws degree in 2004, and subsequently completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law of England and Wales.
