Ulster hosts Irish Times Innovation Cities Roadshow 2011

The University of Ulster hosted the first of the Irish Times Innovation Cities Roadshow seminars last Friday, as part of a series being staged throughout Ireland. The primary aim is to champion and promote economic and social innovation throughout Ireland. This Editor, Toni, attended the event and was impressed by the quality of the presentations which were both inspiring and informative. University of Ulster Director of Innovation, Tim Brundle, was among the key speakers. The next Innovation Cities Roadshow will be held in Derry/Londonderry on Friday, September 16th, followed by Limerick on Tuesday, September 27th.

Toni joined Ireland’s longest established telecare company, TASK Community Care in 2009, and is responsible for operations and business development in its Northern Ireland division. Having originally planned for a career in the legal profession, she gained her Bachelor of Laws degree in 2004, and subsequently completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law of England and Wales.
