Northern Ireland Technology Showcase

Invest NI is holding a cross sector technology event to provide innovative and practical technology solutions to help local companies address business challenges. The idea behind the event is to provide ‘a platform for technology to enable Northern businesses to become more productive and more competitive’.

The Showcase will also incorporate three technology related workshops, including one on connected health technologies, and another on developing ICT apps.

Keynote speakers will include Ian Philips, Staff Engineer at ARM Ltd of Cambridge who will cover Global Technology trends and Scott Berkun, best selling author of Making Things Happen, The Myths of Innovation, Confessions of a Public Speaker, and Mindfire: Big Ideas for Curious Minds who will talk about managing ideas, creative thinking and communication.

About Toni Bunting

Toni joined Ireland’s longest established telecare company, TASK Community Care in 2009, and is responsible for operations and business development in its Northern Ireland division. Having originally planned for a career in the legal profession, she gained her Bachelor of Laws degree in 2004, and subsequently completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law of England and Wales. Toni also holds a Master’s Degree in Management & Corporate Governance and has carried out various legal research/publications work for the Law Centre (NI) on a voluntary basis, with a focus on Community Care Law.
